The Community Medicine Department at Niazi Medical and Dental
College affiliated with Niazi Welfare Foundation and teaching
hospital sargodha plays a vital role in promoting public
health and preventing diseases. It engages with the local
community to identify health needs and provide targeted
interventions through research, education, and trained
healthcare professionals. The department educates the
community on health issues and monitors and controls
infectious diseases through health education, development, and
dissemination of health education materials.
By collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and other
stakeholders, the Community Medicine Department works to
improve public health outcomes. Ultimately, the department
plays a crucial role in addressing the health needs of the
community, promoting preventive healthcare, and advancing
