SPSS Workshop was arranged for both clinical and basic science
faculty to provide an introduction to IBM SPSS Statistics, a
powerful statistical software package widely used in academia
and industry for data analysis.
Key Objectives of the workshop were to:
- Familiarize participants with the SPSS interface and basic data management techniques.
- Introduce core statistical concepts and their implementation in SPSS.
- Develop practical skills in data analysis and interpretation.
A workshop is organized for teaching and non-teaching faculty members. It was designed to help participants unlock the full potential of Microsoft Excel, a powerful tool that can transform the way of handling data and perform calculations. The workshop contained the essential features of Excel, from basic data entry and formatting to creating formulas and charts. The workshop provided a means to equip the participants with the knowledge and confidence to use Excel efficiently in their academic, personal, or professional tasks.
The second workshop in the Excel series, titled "Mastery in Excel," was specifically designed for all Heads of Departments. Building on the foundations laid in our "Introduction to Excel" workshop, this advanced session enabled our participants to dive deeper into Excel's powerful features and tools. Participants learnt how to automate tasks using macros, create complex data models, and utilize advanced formulas to calculate internal assessment and enhance productivity on data analysis. This workshop aims to provide them with the expertise needed to harness Excel's full potential, ensuring that they can lead their teams with confidence and efficiency.
